Quality Control Process
A rigorous multi-stage process ensures every lot meets specification before it leaves our facility.
Farm-Level Inspection
Our agronomists inspect cardamom at the farm before harvest. Only pods meeting our minimum maturity and colour standards are accepted for processing.
Intake Grading & Sorting
Incoming lots are weighed, sampled, and graded by size using calibrated sieves. Lots failing minimum size or moisture thresholds are rejected at intake.
Controlled Drying
Pods are dried in temperature-controlled chambers to achieve moisture content of 12% or below. Drying curves are logged and reviewed for every batch.
Cleaning & Colour Sorting
Dried pods pass through electronic colour sorters and gravity separators to remove discoloured, damaged, or undersized pods and extraneous matter.
Laboratory Testing
Representative samples from every lot are tested in our in-house lab and by accredited third-party laboratories for moisture, volatile oil, pesticide residues, heavy metals, and microbial load.
Packaging & Documentation
Approved lots are packed in buyer-specified packaging. Each shipment is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis, Phytosanitary Certificate, and Spices Board quality certificate.
